Correct tire inflation pressure is very important to the quality of the ride and the life of the tire.  Inflation pressures that are either too low or too high can shorten the life of your tires, rob you of gas milage, or cause vehicle handling problems.

To determine how many pounds of air pressure your tires should have, do one of the following:
1.    Look on the door post of the car (usually driver's side) - inflations pressures are often posted there.
2.    Consult your owners manual
3.    Ask your friendly tire dealer -give us a call - we would be more than happy to help you determine the correct inflation pressure for your tires.

More Questions and Answers
Q. My car pulls to the left or right. What's the matter?

A. Believe it or not, most vehicle pulls or drifts are caused by bad tires. If the belts on a tire become conical, instead of round, they will push a car either left or right. Other possibilities are a misaligned front end or bent parts resulting from an accident or pot hole.

Q. My car vibrates at a low speed. What's the matter?

A. Low speed vibrations are usually the result of a badly bent wheel or a tire with a separated or warped casing.

Q. My car vibrates slightly at a high speed. What's the matter?

A. Precision, computer wheel balancing should solve this problem.

Q. My car handles poorly in the rain. What's the matter?

A. Low tread or old rubber can cause poor handling in foul weather. Have your tires inspected for age and tread depth.

Q. How long do tires last?

A. Although tire warranties make incredible mileage claims, you should consider both time and mileage. If you have received 50,000 miles from a set of tires, or 4 to 5 years of service life, it is time to have your tires inspected by a tire specialist. Remember, tires should be inspected every month for unusual wear and have the air pressure checked and adjusted frequently.
